Helped lead Walters State to the Division I Junior College World Series championship in 2006 ... Hit .455 with 13 home runs and 39 RBI during his only season with the Senators ... Also threw out 26 of 31 potential base stealers ... Twice earned all-state honors at Center Grove High School in Indiana where he hit a school-record 29 home runs during his four-year career ... Named Johnson County Player of the Year three times, and was a Louisville Slugger All-American in 2005.
