Pete returns to the Mariners, where he coached in 2004. This season, his first at Babson College, the Beavers were 25-14. He worked with the infielders, catchers and the overall defense. He had been assistant coach at Boston College the last two seasons.
Prior to BC, he spent 13 seasons at the helm of Franklin High School, where his team averaged 14 victories a season. In 2000, they reeled off 21
consecutive wins, a new school record.
He is a health and physical education teacher at Franklin High School, where he and his wife Linda reside and have four children.
