THE PROGRAM
The Harwich Mariners Fundamental Baseball Clinic, sponsored by the Harwich Athletic Association, provides instruction in the proper baseball fundamentals and mechanics for players ages 5 to 17 years. Players will improve specific baseball skills through drills and demonstrations. Emphasis is placed on instruction and improvement. Participants learn from an outstanding staff and enjoy the use of local facilities and equipment.
GROUPING AND INSTRUCTION
Boys and girls are grouped according to age and ability. Instruction stresses baseball fundamentals - proper throwing, hitting, base running, sportsmanship, etc. There are also opportunities for individual batting and field drills.
The clinic is suitable for softball players too!

There are seven, weekly baseball clinic sessions.
RAIN DATES MAY BE MADE UP DURING ANOTHER SESSION OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
Players may attend a day at a future session to compensate for any missed days due to weather.
Registration takes place on Monday morning of each new session at the Mariners concession stand at Whitehouse Field.
Registration Fee: $70 per week for ages 5-14, $125 per week for ages 15-17
For the season, each participant will receive one Harwich Mariners Clinic T-shirt.
Family discount (age 5-14 sessions only): All registrants pay $70 the first week. A discount is available for subsequent weeks for additional family members, who will pay $65.

STAFF
The staff will direct the clinic and be assisted by Harwich Mariner players. The staff's enthusiasm toward baseball and young athletes will enhance the enjoyment and learning for each participant. It is our goal to instruct and encourage each player to reach his or her baseball potential, gain confidence, have fun, and to learn and experience good sportsmanship.
